The fate of the local theatre hangs in the balance. In an effort to save her beloved workplace, the busy and optimistic producer Henriette hires renowned director David, hoping to draw the audience back to the theatre—unaware of the content of the upcoming production. Confidence in the theatre's revival under the famous artist’s leadership is high, but the challenges become clear when the director's vision proves to be unclear, especially with the season's launch just hours away. Kåre, one of the theatre's technicians, becomes an unlikely hero and a crucial figure in the director's creative chaos. His understanding of both the theatre and "ordinary people," combined with his practical skills, becomes essential in bringing the vision to life, even though he doesn’t fully grasp what that vision entails. Amid the chaos, where artistic ambitions clash with reality, the three characters must find a way to reconcile their differences in order to save the theatre's future together. Spetakkel (eng.
