Skygger i mørket

The project is inspired by the tragic suicides at Bredtveit Prison in 2023 and explores society's ethical responsibility towards those who bear an invisible burden behind prison walls. The story revolves around two female inmates and a male prison officer, delving into their complex and challenging lives. After a fateful event—yet another suicide at the facility—these three individuals are forced to confront the darkest aspects of themselves, examine their inner demons, and dream of a future that seems increasingly uncertain. Skygger i mørket (eng. Shadows in the dark) is written by André Lassemo, funded by Fritt Ord, and is aiming to have its premiere in 2025.
